Hard Rock Music takes on Kotex

There I was driving down to BWI tonight so I can work a flight in the weeeeee hours of the morning. My Sirius radio was on and I was flipping through the channels to find some music to rock out too while on my merry way. I landed on "HeartAttack." It's a channel that focuses on Hard Core Metal rock. I couldn't believe what I was listening too. The band's name was "Anal Blast." Nothing too crazy there right...I mean, It isn't as though I don't do that on a regular basis. Must be an inspiring song that I could relate too right? Uh...No. The song that came on was, "She eats the tampons out of my shit." Some how, I'm just baffled that such an up beat and catchy tune isn't number 1 on the billboard charts. Since this genre isn't exacty the kind of music I listen too, I'm not sure if this is actually a popular song. What would really make me laugh...would be to run into someone who not only listens to this kind of hard hitting rock where the words are just deep bursts of vocal grunts....but someone who actually considers, "She eats the tampons out of my shit" to be their favorite song. It's moments like this that make me think....It's darn tootin ok to live in the Mainstream.

I'm down in BWI a lot lately. Mostly to take care of ATA flights that are beyond late. My job has me working a normal 8-5 shift at home and then another 4-8 hours late at night, almost every night.

Sheri and I were able to get away for a long weekend and it was WONDERFUL. I would keep on typing but my delayed L1011 is on final approach and I need to get to the gate.
