The Fat Tax

If you are a New York resident, you have got to love the plans coming from the capital on how they state government wants to catch up with it's ever growing budget deficit. The Governor announced the new "Fat Tax" or tax on soft drinks that contain levels of sugar that exceed standards set by bureaucrats. This of course is in addition to charging added tax on gas, income, sales, and even another one of my personal favorites....iTunes!

This last election season was a referendum on Republicans. Nationwide, they lost seats because they couldn't figure out how to stop spending. Many of them deserved the loss, many were doing a fine job but became collateral damage and were ousted. Now, we get to see the full power of the left. The voice of the youth has been heard and the old crusty people on the right have been sent back to the private sector.

Before too much foolishness takes hold, I think now is a great time to sit back for a moment and laugh a little bit.

The youth who thrive on high energy drinks and music, those same folks who cried at the mere mention of a middle class tax cut are now a target...not from the right...instead....from the left. Sure, they may see a tax decrease, but the cost of living their lives the way they want to in one of America's most populous and "Blue" states is going to increase. If they drive, they have to pay more for gas, if they shop, the clothes will cost more, if they work, they'll see less in their pay checks, if they like Cola, they'll pay more and if they dig on iTunes, well, they'll do their patriotic duty and pay more. So, for all that talk about tax breaks and how Republicans screw the middle class....wake up and taste the diet ginger ale baby! When you elect those who support more and more programs, you are going to pay....not the rich. Rich people drink Fiji Water (Obama) or Voss (Hillary.)

Obama has the liberal left in a tizzy today. After Prop 8 in California, Pastor Warren was blasted by the liberal left machine. Obama chose him to deliver the invocation at his inauguration. "Yes He Did....Yes He Did!" Though I'm fairly confident, this will have ZERO bearing on the future of the United States...it's certainly worth a chuckle considering Warren's anti gay marriage stance. For the record, let it also be known that I do believe gays should have the same rights as straights. If not marriage, then a civil union with full rights as straight couples. Regardless...The Die Hard Pro Obama/Pro Gay Protesters who literally assaulted innocent people over Prop 8, have to be scratching their heads. I give Obama credit on his choice.

I'll even take this a step further and give Obama credit on many of his choices for cabinet members. Though I don't like all of them, he has taken his campaign rhetoric and shelved it a bit by moving to the right instead of to the left. I pray to god that he continues to swing to the right...time will tell and I'll likely have an opinion to share.

Just a quick recap-

Democrats ran across the country on: Tax Cuts for the Middle Class; Tax Increase for the Rich; Change we can believe in; Gay Rights; Expanded Health care; an end to Washington Corruption; Wasteful Spending and Precision Economic Stimulus Uneducated voters came out in droves for the Man who can speak inspiration and hope, and his party, with the goal to get them in and oust the Republicans (Which apparently is a dirty word now.)

Now it looks like we're seeing the following plans come together:

  • Tax Breaks for the middle class (though still not well defined)
  • No Tax Increases for the Rich
  • Insane increases in spending
  • High Level Executive Leadership that does resemble much of the past (though not as bad as I thought it would be)
  • A Pro-Life/Anti-Gay Pastor at the Inauguration
  • Cuts to heath care programs across the country due to a severe slump in tax revenue
  • Washington Corruption apparently doesn't hold a candle to Chicago Politics
  • Stimulus plans which include Water Slides at Parks and Polar Bear exhibits at Zoos. What the fuck is that going to stimulate economically?
  • At least in NY and CA (The most Liberal Democratic states) Heavy increases in taxes on just about everything.
  • GW Bush is turning Democrat on the way out the door with a possible bail out for the auto industry.
Though registered as a Republican, the party itself sucks. I'm tempted to register Independent, but I do want a say in Primary Politics, so, I'll stay put for now....but this party needs to remember it's Conservative roots and rid itself of the "NeoCon" and "Religious Right." The Right had control and screwed it up when it held an majority....now let's give the left a chance to remind us all of how important conservatism is (not party politics)to the betterment of our country.

We learned this week that Arabs, when they really want to tell someone off and show disrespect...throw their shoes. Americans show true disrespect by shitting in a paper bag, lighting it and leaving it on someone's door. We Rock!

And finally...Burger King announces a new body spray Nothing turns on the ladies like a hit of Flame Broiled Meat. Anytime I wanted to impress, I would slap some hamburger grease all over my chest before a big date. No longer will men suffer with dirty greasy shirts. No longer will ladies run their fingers through a man's chest hair only to end up with little pieces of cooked beef under their nails. You asked if it was possible to come up with the ultimate fragrance and Burger King answered...."YES WE CAN"

Was Ron Wrong....Really???

An excerpt from a CBS News Report regarding the auto industry bail out. I highlited a very important point.

Collateral Damage
As carmakers made their plea to Washington for a $35 billion bailout package, GM announced it will cut shifts at factories in Ohio, Michigan and Ontario in February as a result of slumping car sales. About 2,000 jobs were involved, bringing GM's year's total of layoffs to 11,000. Smaller players warned that if Congress didn't help the Big Three, the ripple effect could affect the entire car industry. Paul DiMaggio, the CEO and President of Delaware Valley Corp in Lawrence, Massachusetts, warned on Friday that the "trickle down effect" would be "phenomenal" if Congress rejected a bailout. His company, which supplies material that is used in General Motors car doors and carpet, has already felt the effects of the car makers' troubles. Just this week he was forced to lay off three members of staff, because the plants they supply material to have been forced to shut down. "I have looked at it, we will survive and I hope I am not convincing myself overly optimistically that we will survive," DiMaggio said. Azure Dynamics in Woburn, Massachusetts is another example of a company feeling the effects of the car industry's uncertainty. The company, which has 120 employees, works on parts that fit into Ford's new hybrid energy vehicles. Vice President Dean McGrew said on Friday that his company had seen a dramatic drop-off in demand in the past two months partially because of a drop in oil prices.

If Reagan was wrong and trickle down economics didn't work and the trickle doesn't really trickle down...why does everyone in a Democrat controlled congress fear this effect? I've heard from so many on the left that say trickle down economics doesn't work. Folks, I believe we are about to spend Billions to prove how important that trickle really is, but since it's the liberals leading the charge, I don't think anyone will be pointing out the hypocrisy. Whether it's Business to Business; Business to Consumer; Management to Employee; Rich to Poor, you just can't seem to create an economy based on trickle up economics because it lacks logic.

The school systems seems to bestow the NEA's beliefs onto their students as has been documented very well, however, they haven't figured out how to teach logic or common sense. Which of the these subjects do you think are more valuable to students as they grow into adults? Shared Beliefs in what others think....or the ability logically reason?

Eyes Wide Shut

Just because it has not been successfully done in the past... does not mean that it is not possible. If anyone is capable of success, it is B.O. It is time for you to get behind, and support your new president.Or, I guess you can still wish that we had elected a man who planned to continue the policies that have put us where we are today...Together. Yes We Can.

That reasoning lacks total logic. In detail, tell me exactly how moving money from top to bottom will create jobs. I've heard 2 years of neat phrases. Give me details, logical reasoning.
By the way, it's time to put the Kool Aid down. Jim Jones and Adolf Hitler used lots of nifty catch phrases that their followers loved to shout. If your Superhero turns out like one of those guys, do you really want to keep using his propaganda phraseology? If I can borrow your version of logic for a moment, Just because B.O. doesn't seem like he could be a bad guy right now, doesn't mean he won't be. Truly and honestly...for the sake of this country and the world, I hope he's not. The problem is, we don't know enough about the guy to know for sure.

Before your new savior walked the Earth, this country was created by people who came over here and suffered tremendous hardship quite simply for the right to pray their own way. Many years later, this country fought against the king and themselves for freedom. One of the sparks that kicked off this battle for Independence was not because of the peoples wish for socialized health care or other government entitlement programs....it was in fact the sheer anger and frustration they suffered under heavy taxation. Shocking to liberals, I know, but if you actually look in the history books, it is there. If you look at where we have come as a nation, and in an amazingly short amount of time when compared to the age of the world, this nation of lower taxes and capitalist democracy has proven to be the most successful model of government in history. Is it failing now...yes. Why...because if you look back, and I know liberals hate doing that because they only want to look forward for hope and change without grounding it reality, We succeed most when our government is least intrusive into our own personal lives. Remember, the only reason the Depression ended, was WWII, we were still deeply entrenched in the depression, even with all of the Entitlements and New Deal programs. Roosevelt is always looked at as a guy who came in and helped with big government. The big programs didn't fix the problems, War and the effect it had on our capitalist system is what eventually saved the day. Capitalist Democracy is not perfect, no form of government is. Let's just try and keep a little historical perspective and remain grounded in reality as we move forward. B.O. may turn out to be a fantastic president and I hope that is the case. But, just in case he doesn't walk on water and heal people with words, just be aware of the signs to look for.

History can teach you, all you have to do is look at it. With several well known leaders in the past, many of them were loved, admired and followed beyond the gates of hell. They came to power and their people adored them and put them on pedestals in ways that are insanely similar to how Obama has come to power. They also killed, commit tortures and suicide for their beloved leaders.

The fact is, this country was built on and is still more than capable of creating amazing opportunity. The President nor the Government should ever have enough control to stifle the attitude that America has maintained for so long. We Can because we are free to make it happen.

Stimulus

The word out of Washington and Chicago is “Stimulus.” We must print more money and spend more on stimulus! Where will the country go if we don’t stimulate the economy right now? Budgets don’t matter…the only thing that matters, “Stimulation!” Bush wants it but doesn’t want to go far enough to do much about it. Obama wants it, and wants so much of it that it will increase the national debt with speed that far exceeds his accusations of Bush’s “Failed Policies.” 500 Billion…and this may only be start. My favorite line so far out of the Obama camp has been, we need to invest in roads and bridges and clean jobs.

Last time I checked, we had a major interstate system along with roads that would take you just about anywhere you need to go in this country. Bridges need some repair, but I don’t see that creating 2.5 million jobs. As a matter of fact, all through the campaign, he told us that he would create 2.5 million NEW jobs. Now we are hearing just 2.5 million jobs. They are banking on people also coming back off of layoff. And what exactly is a “Clean” job? Does this mean that bulldozers and earth movers will clear the way for wind mills and solar technology? Sounds like there will be a lot of dirty jobs before we create the clean ones. I’m all for clean technology, don’t get me wrong, but it does sound a little hypocritical. How many people will it take to maintain a wind farm or solar farm? Once constructed and spinning, how many people will work at that windmill? Will that windmill provide enough work to keep people busy and even provide for their retirement? Sure, clean technology will bring with it jobs….but once constructed, will it sustain millions of jobs??? My thought process could be wrong and frankly, I hope I am. In the mean time, let’s not bad mouth all those current, “unclean” jobs. If it’s a job and it pays, I think that’s a great thing no matter what it is right now.

Back to this “Stimulus” concept…Just like the anointed one himself said all through his campaign, this economic problem needs to be solved from the bottom up. Yet, he wants to solve it from the Government down. Face it, we are all humans. We are capable of self stimulation. Hell, I’ll be the majority of citizens have been stimulating themselves and their loved ones for years regardless of economic conditions. What the government needs to do is allow more freedom of self stimulation. Take away some of those protections they hold us back from major stimulation, remove the gloves that reduce the thrill of success and enable us to enjoy an era of explosive stimulation.

Lower taxes for everybody and cut the fucking spending! Balance a budget so debt doesn’t shoot to the moon! What did you think I was talking about?

Well, it just goes to show you, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid know nothing about real “Stimulation”

SIRI .15 hey….it’s up a cent!

Sirius XM

I have certainly made it clear that I LOVE Satellite Radio. With the merger complete and the stations now in sync, radio has never been better. Today, the stock hit .20 and I think many of us beleaguered share holders are in for a bankruptcy.

I believe I've said this before. FUCK THE FCC. See, the FCC dragged their feet needlessly, or for a more honest reason, the National Association of Broadcasting (Corporate Radio) paid gazillions in lobbying to delay and prevent this merger. The folks that bring you 2o minutes of music and 40 minutes of commercials every hour on FM are threatened by this tiny new industry called Satellite Radio. In the end, the NAB lost and after nearly 2 years of "consideration" the FCC finally caved in to the reality that Sirius and XM were not a monopoly. During that time period, Sirius and XM were bleeding severely with the hopes they could merge and stop competing. With the two of them working as one, they stand a really good chance of being a nice profitable little company that provides a great product to anyone that wants it.

The bad news is that the two companies racked up an insane amount of debt during the waiting period and when the merger finally was completed...the stock sank. Some investors jumped out and cut there loses, sucks...but it was smart. For those of us holders of SIRI, we have found ourselves watching day by day, the ever sinking ship that is Sirius XM stock.

The auto industry doesn't understand this concept, however it seems that thousands of other companies do. It's called, Bankruptcy restructuring. It's where you enter bankruptcy and you do business as normal, all the while you are offloading your debt and making your company leaner and more efficient. I can tell you, I'm going to get screwed if they do go into bankruptcy, however they will at least emerge stronger and continue pumping great content in to my vehicle no matter where I am on the road. I would say the government should bail them out just like everyone else, especially because it's the government who put them in this position in the first place....however, our fearless leaders are not known for responsible patterns of thinking. Instead, they'll reward GM, Ford and Chrysler for horrible management and allowing labor to cripple them....and do it with my hard earned dollars. Out of curiosity, where are the conservative voices on this one? Oh, that's right, you hear them only on conservative talk radio...the same thing our new leadership regime wants to censor. Maybe I should look the other way and get excited about this "Change we can Believe in" like 52% of our country???

Ron Paul for President 2012 (He may be a little nutty, but he's got a good message)

Princess Pants Suit

Hillary is being looked at for the head of the state department. This would be a good thing. I never thought I would say this but, she's so much more to the right of Obama, I would rather see her have her hand in international affairs. As an added bonus, she would also have to give up her senate seat. So, if Obama does not turn out to be Jesus, and the conservatives in this country can figure out who they are in either 4 or 8 years....Washington can get some fresh faces.

It is way to early to tell what the future of the Republican party is, or if conservatives like myself will continue to align ourselves to the GOP. I'm all for the policy of Goldwater and Reagan. It makes me sick to see the GOP evolved into what it has become. I have to give props to Jeff Daddy as he pointed out to me a few years ago, what he felt was the fall of the Republicans due to the control of the NeoCons. Daddy hit the nail on the head. Through out the Neo Conservatives and bring back traditional conservatism, minus the radical right. I don't believe anyone who tells others how to live as if their shit doesn't stink should have the privilege to cause further harm to an already severely damaged party.

One name is standing out for the Republican Party Chairman. Michael Steele! This is a brilliant guy who is articulate and has a solid grasp of global politics. I just hope enough people will get behind him and an agenda that counters the more "Socialistic" direction we seem to be headed towards at full speed. With so much attention being paid to everyone with their hands out for bail out money, it's hard to tell just how difficult it will be to recover from this kind of spending addiction. I just hope Mr. Steele and other conservatives can find a voice along with a comprehensive solution to get us moving in a direction that is fiscally responsible and pulls the federal government and tax payers out of the entitlement business.

I read Jennifer Granholm's commentary on why the big 3 should get a bailout. I didn't know just how much better these companies could run if they could only get another cash infusion. I'm sure with the spectacular management and cooperative unions that are in place, the money will go towards retooling and making these companies just that much better. Funny thing about that article....I kind of felt like someone was pitching to sell me a bridge in New York...hmm?

Oh...and have you heard Satellite Radio lately? They merged some of the Sirius and XM channels and WOW....This is a GREAT product! The service was great before....now it is just plain out of this world!

Fundamental Change for America

The election is over and Obama is working on transitioning into the White House. The day after the election, everyone and their mother offered support and encouragement to support the new President. As for me, I'm an American and believe in the American system of government. I don't agree with a lot of what Obama stands for, but I do stand behind our system and therefore, our President.

That being said, I'm already frustrated with what I'm seeing. Pelosi, Reid and Obama are trying to push another "Stimulus Plan." This plan involves giving money to governments and municipalities. What kind of stimulation will that create? It sounds like more of a bail out to me. I just don't agree with the pattern that our government has been taking. First, it was the banks who managed themselves like shit. We bail out their irresponsible behavior and piss poor management. Now, we are looking at giving money to municipalities that most likely, don't run to efficiently. The latest news has us throwing money at GM. Are you kidding me? The airline industry was forced to go into bankruptcy, even after some government assistance. The government loaned money to the airlines at a high interest rate. This temporarily kept them out of bankruptcy, but, with the exception of American and Southwest, all the majors went through bankruptcy and the came out on the other side with less debt, more efficient and with more affordable labor contracts. Why are we going to bail out GM for their piss poor management? Obama is suggesting taking some of the 700B bailout plan and giving it to GM so they can flush it down the toilet and manage it poorly. Is this the kind of "Change" that 52% of the country voted for?

Obama Supporters....I'm listening. Please explain why you believe this patter of preventing failure will be successful?

This country and capitalism for that matter is: The freedom to succeed comes with the freedom to fail. Bankruptcy is not fun! I know as I've survived it one time during ATA Airlines' first trip through it. However, it doesn't mean that the doors have to shut and the world comes to an end. Many companies have gone in and come out far stronger. GM is not immune to being able to doing that.

Or, maybe we just need to fear failure so much that we as a nation, go bust in trying to prevent the actual failure of failing business.

More Talking Points and scripted catch phrases...Great!

A comment was left from my last entry....

Anything is better than four more years of McSame.

Obama/Biden 08

Here is my reply-

Can an Obama supporter site any time in history where policy of his nature was successful? Can the Obama supporters use logic and common sense to come to a conclusion that his plans for taxes are going to be an overwhelming success...worth of their cost?

This election has turned into a referendum on feelings. Feelings don't fix problems. Logic, common sense, discipline and understanding how jobs are created...these traits can help fix problems. So far, Obama has only made millions feel good. His policy lacks a vision to see a big picture. For one man to make millions feel good is an astounding accomplishment. (Unlike millions on the left....those of us on the right are capable of giving credit where it is due.) The issues unfortunatly are taking a back seat to the feelings. We are now in a position where we are about to elect a guy who has been unable to show any form of logic when it comes to handling real economic problems. The press reports that Obama has practically saved the universe from collapse, but, they too have no proof that he knows what the hell he's talking about.

Someone on the left...Please help me out here. Articulate using logic and common sense, exactly how higher taxes on those who can hire, while forcing stronger unions that cost more to companies, will somehow create jobs. If you can do this with ZERO talking points and ZERO rehtoric, maybe I too will consider voting for the guy. So far, not a soul...not even those on his campaign staff that I spoke too, have been able to tell me why Obama is the right choice. For millions, "No More of the Same" goes in one ear and out the other. Means NOTHING to me. Give me logicical reasoning as to why Obama's plans will work. Give me a "Big Picture" from the top down as to how his plan will benefit those who make little and those who make lots. Explain it in a business format....maybe then...I might believe that Obama is capable of handling a bad economy. Otherwise....don't waste your energy on talking points and scripted catch phrases with me.

Spending other people's money is New Patriotism.

OK Kids, how many of you know your history? Did the "New Deal" pull the US out of it's deep depression....or was it the War? Do your homework before you answer that one. Think before you vote. It's a simple concept like, shit before you wipe. The Left has been preaching about the another New Deal. Brilliant...just when the country is in debt beyond all comprehension...let's spend more on projects!

Here's an example of the money flow

Pass a bill that requires major spending -borrow from China - hire more employees to the government - offer generous pay and benefits - borrow more money to pay for added costs - Hope that Change will come soon - projects runs behind because new government union employees don't do weekends without added pay - spend more money spent on overtime to catch up - borrow more money - union employees sue government due to imperfect working conditions- borrow more money and finally complete the project. Repeat this process hundreds of times across the country and again, count on Hope and Change to bring about relief to a struggling economy.

Programs are really neat and they sure make people feel good, but that doesn't mean it's responsible when you can't afford it. Maybe when the country can pull it's pants up, then we should consider programs. In the mean time, we are still in the process of getting butt fucked by our elected officials and their irresponsiblity (on both sides of the aisle.)

Hey....you might not like McCain. Frankly, I'm not a big fan myself...but can you really disagree with the flow that I described? Is this really a bad example of how well the government can operate? We see it all the time from the Feds right down to the municipalities. Where is the advantage to the government stepping in? Take this example and think about healthcare...or your retirement. Do you still strongly support allowing our fearless government manage our lives? I'll stick with what barely works vs what won't work. There are better solutions out there and they come from smart people and smart business. Not all business is bad, but the media doesn't advertise that either.

"We'll Grow Jobs" OK Fuck Nuts.....and this would be perfect for both candidates. How do lifetime goverment employees and public servants think they can "Grow Jobs" What the hell do they know about Job Growth? Neither one of them has ever even run a business.

Obama says, Stronger Unions and Higher taxes on big companies! Genius, how can you increase the cost on businesses by strengthening unions (they aren't cheap) and then tax the hell out of them....and expect jobs to grow? Who are you kidding, that is a recipe for killing jobs. What company is going to grow in that environment?

McCain says, Lower taxes on everybody will create jobs. Well...he's right on that one to an extent. With the taxes at current rates, the are the lowest in recent history for EVERYONE (Low for EVERYONE...that sounds fair to me) but what they really need to do is lower them further for small business. Most people don't know that the payroll tax a sole proprietor must pay in addition to their regular tax is close to 50%. He's also right on spending cuts....we need to stop spending ourselves to death. If you eat 24/7, you're going to burst one day. Our country can do the same. Don't kid yourselves.

Speaking of eating -

I was just feeling like a poo was brewing so I decided to stop typing and went to the can for a little pressure relief. Once I made it to the bathroom, I really felt like there would be some air behind this monster. For the purpose of entertaining my friends with disgusting and childish filth, I decided to try and capture the sound, just in case it was a good one. I don't recommend anyone play this if hearing a turd birth is offensive.

This ended up being a triple flusher with all the "leftovers" This is what happens to me when I don't get enough fiber in my daily diet. Lately, I've been eating Fiber One cereal and my poo has been quasi normal. This is the result of: Late Night Wendy's - Spicy Go Wrap, small fries, Twizzlers, Fiber One Raisin Bran cereal, ginger ale, Nestle Crunch, a can of club soda with a splash of "Spring Natural Water." I didn't eat this all at once....this was everything I took in over the last 12 hours. If you think about it...I really do eat like shit. I've got to make some change in my diet..."Change I Can Believe In"

Remember, on Tuesday -

A vote against Obama is a vote for:

Freedom of the Press
Freedom to bear arms
Potentially Freedom of Speech
Freedom to vote against a union without threat
Smaller Government
Real Job Growth
Less Spending (There's a wild concept)
And so much more....

If you want to give up what is listed here...then by all means....vote for Hope and Change. Just remember, you can't pull Hope from an ATM Machine, nor does it sign your paycheck.

Friends, Romans, Countrymen......

It has been a long time since I published a blog. Why has it been so long, you may wonder. In a word, Busy. Busy with work, busy with flying, busy with keeping up with my life and busy watching the market take away more than half of my value. Just like the rest of the decent citizens of this nation who socked away all I could, I too have the distinct pleasure of taking it in the rear without the courtesy of lube. One word can describe such a disaster. "Fucked" I will survive, business will continue and life will go on. My heart goes out to America's elderly. They can't work, they are down in a major way and all they can do is sit by and watch the politicians and business leaders scrabble for solutions.

Who is to blame? EVERYONE! Jump in front of the nearest mirror, stick your index fingers out and tell that person you are looking at that they are responsible for this mess. We all are. We all are lovers of debt. Our dicks and vag flaps would chub up at the thought of buying more than we could afford. Some of us were smart and took action when the wave was coming....others waited until they got slammed. What is the solution? Beats the living shit out of me. I've got my own thoughts, concepts and ideas as to how some of this can be fixed. Do I think the goverment should bail everyone and everything out....no. That must make me one of those evil people the media likes to talk about. You know the kind of person that believes in personal responsiblity. The media...what a bunch of pricks. This Election cycle has proved overwhelmingly, the sheer power of the media. It's both far reaching and dangerous. With a media that supports one candidate to the extent that it has scares the crap out of me.

Blame....uh....The Republicans! Are you serious? Barney Frank and Chris Dodd are as repsonsible for this as the German people were in denial about a holocost that took place in the woods near their towns. Are Republicans also at fault for the mess this country is in...yes they are....but to think that because an individual is a member of the party labeled "Democrat," somehow they must be better with economics....no freaking way. It's not what party is good with the economy, it's which people in the parties that count the most. Barak Obama is an idiot when it comes to economics. I would say a 5th grader might be able to understand the concept of a market better...except most 5th graders have recently been indoctrinated into a far left way of liberal thinking. Don't believe me....? Watch the news.

Redistribution of wealth - Let's drop the PC for a second and call it what it really is. Bogus. You can't tell me that you can take from those who work hard, reinvest in their own companies and their people....then take it and hand $1000 out to someone who doesn't earn enough to pay tax...that magically...all will work well in a free market society. That 1K is going to buy 1 rent or mortgage payment if used properly.....or a new TV, booze, down payment on a car or any other not so brilliant use. That 1K is not going to revitalize shit and instead, the guy who can use it wisely has to pay up.

Everyone is mad....So am I. But for God's sake....that doesn't mean we all have to reach to the depths of stupid just to make a point. I don't like McCain. I never have...but when I look at which villiage idiot to vote for....I've got to go with the guy who doesn't want to cripple the economy with a dangerous game of risk. Entiltments and Redistribution of wealth....they've got a very high cost. Have no fear....though....cause nothing could possibly be worse than Bush....or could it?

Now, I'm going to go back to work. I have to make as much as I can up to 249,999.99. Then I need to stop. Otherwise I might be labeled even more evil and rich. Who ever thought that 250K was like Trump?

P-Bone

Got a call from "Crowbar" the other day. Though the call was mostly business, he did advise that he had to take a leak on a flight and it was difficult for him as he was suffering from the temporary male phenomena called, "Pee Boner." Though I have not bothered to research the actual factual basis for such a stiff and sensitive problem, I can say with absolute confidence, men know what I'm talking about. For those who suffer from this problem, which would be every guy who is capable of wood, you also must know how difficult it must be to preform the "Pee Boner Push Down." This involves pushing down one's own penis, while standing on tip toes with the goal of successfully urinating inside the toilet. It's hard (pun intended) enough to do this while at home, imagine trying to do this in a skinny airplane lavatory. I couldn't possibly end this segment of wasted web space without mentioning the "Tenting" that the "Pee Boner" caused my good friend. How humiliating must it be to walk down a crowed airplane aisle as you head towards the can while "Tenting." This is when the erect penis causes containing fabrics such as underwear, pants or bedsheets to be raised in a tent-like shape.

Off Topic:

Weather and my work schedule have kept me grounded from continuing my flight training education. I hope to be able to climb back into the cockpit this week and get some hours and education in.

What's Next:

Tonight is a 10 year anniversary party for a couple of friends. Port o Pots kind of freak me out and this party has no other option for "evacuation." I'm down to 2 options for avoidance. 1. Poop as much as I can today prior to the party. 2. Drive a few miles to the nearest public flushable heaper in the event of a log flume. Mixing white trash men with beer Port o John and you have the perfect recipe for pee and poo....all over the toilet seat....much less anything else. White Trash Males at a party can make a gas station bathroom look as luxurious as the Waldorf Astoria.

Animal Kingdom Update:

I really think something must be wrong with my dog. His ass is producing some of the worst odors I've ever smelled....and....he's doing it ALL the time! This must be some sort of karma from years of fart appreciation. Well....others may just call it immaturity.

Signing off:

At least I've had a great chance to lay around and be lazy most of the day today. My schedule is insane in June....really freaking insane. I believe it was God that said we should rest on the 7th day. I followed those orders today. Too bad I don't seem to follow them more often. My lazy day is coming to a close as I need to get cleaned up, dressed up and emptied out before this party.

Farewell Dear Comfort

ATA Died on the 3rd of April. This has changed me focus and thrown me into a bit of a business slump. Though I knew it was coming, and I prepared for it as much as I thought I could, the hit has continued to sting. So many of my former co-workers are out of work. I guess I'm lucky that I saw the writing on the walls early on. It's been weeks since the demise of my biggest customer. It's been weeks since I felt the comfort that ATA brought me. Though I had worked for them as a vendor for over a year....it was always comforting to know that if I ever fell on my ass, I always had a place to go. The picture is not as clear and I'm not as comfortable. Though I hate the fact that the "air bag" is deflated, the car is still on the road and able to drive. It's life and it moves on. I'm just trying to focus on my situation and look at it from a positive light. Now is the time to learn and grow.

Today, I was working a World MD11 Freighter. This was the first time that I got to work with a Freighter from World and it was a horrible example to start with. The ground handling company, "WFS" were terrible. This was a charter for Lufthansa, and this handler treated us like we were some worthless fly by night carrier and gave us bare minimum staff and a joke for service. We did have to stop loading a few times though....because the cabin kept filling with smoke from burning hydraulic fluid. The crew and maintenance said this was due to over servicing the hydraulic system....though I've never heard of such a thing. I guess the designers of the MD11 found a way to integrate passenger air conditioning with deadly fluid. Smart! The L1011 may be an old bird, but it's design was so much better than the MD products.

I also had an NAO flight that was ferrying out to LSF. While WOA was taking a delay for worthless handling. No problem there at least.

On to an issue that isn't as clean -

Single Ply toilet paper sucks! ASIG's bathroom near the operations trailer now has this single ply ass cleaner that is so thin, it's almost as bad as 1/2 ply paper. The other day, I was wiping my dark star and thought my finger broke through. Upon further inspection of my appendage, I noticed there was no discoloration and the bunched paper hadn't been broken. At first, I thought it was "Shit Luck" pun intended....then I did the sniff test. If you are a man, you know what I'm talking about. Sniff, get a confused look on your face and then sniff again for confirmation. Confirmation is followed by the shocked and disappointed look on your face, and then the ultra careful manner in the things you allow your hand to touch before you can soap it up and wash it off.

The Mrs. and I had some lunch with Rob last week. It was both great to catch up and even more uplifting to discuss some of my goals and challenges. I do love the way he can listen to what I'm saying and break it down into something so easy for me to see and find a way to focus better. Thank you again, Rob....you are a god send.

There is a poster on the wall in the Ops Trailer that says, "In an Emergency, would you know how to exit?" Well....Would you?

I just got the call from Gopie at Ops Control...my flight is 30 mins out. Time to go back to work!

....and in the news

Rumors are rampant about the demise of ATA. So many people are all saying the exact same things. Last time ATA faced death, there was all kinds of speculation regarding how and when. This time, the story appears to be written with only a single chapter....Seven. Should all these rumors be true, I will miss ATA deeply. Though it's been a sometimes rocky road with them, it's certainly been fully of opportunity and education. My heart goes out to what's left of the people that make up this half organized, half knee jerk reaction airline. So many of them put their souls into playing on the team....so many will face unemployment.

For me, I'm scared. ATA's played a massive role in my company's development. I'm sure there are other opportunities out there, but the unknown gives me that tension stress you can feel in the pit of your stomach.

On a brighter note, since ATA has lost the campaign charters, I've been asked by North American to pick them up. So, I may not be on the same plane, with the same crews...but the passengers will be the same. In the past, I've said it's like a family on board....and that's a very welcoming environment to work in. Though I'm sure everything will run just fine, I'm mostly looking forward to the challenge of doing all that I can to make the NAO operation identical to the ATA operation in order to please the customer. This customer LOVED ATA's performance and is horribly sad to see it moved to another airline. I too am sad to see the change, but can't wait to dive in and handle the challenge of creating an identical or better operational experience for this customer.

Even more positive.....Spring has sprung and the days of single digit temperatures should be over for most of the country. If I'm going to be bouncing around the country on these charters, I'm just glad to get beyond the frigid temperatures I dealt with earlier this year.

The other day, I purchased a new hosting service for my company's website and email. After 24 hours of suffering with the nuances of this new service...I switched back to yahoo small business. I'm still in the market for a service that costs less and provides a superior product as yahoo small business is quite unimpressive. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm listening. Startlogic.com is now crossed off my list. Seriously...who wants to have a email service where you're users have to contact you to change their passwords? The only way for them to do it themselves, is if I gave them admin access to the site....which would mean that everyone would have full access to every body's email. I'm just not comfortable with that. More than anything else, I'm shocked that an email platform like that is even being sold.

I must admit, it was very cool to see the reactions that I had from my last blog. I should probably blog politically more often. Good points all around but....I still say....cut the damn spending already!

The weather has prevented me from starting my IFR instruction this week. I did talk with my new instructor though. Turns out, he's a beanie wearing, holy day observing Jew. If the weather and my schedule will ever give me a break, I'll be getting checked out to fly out of BWI. So....Baltimore based fans...let's go flying sometime.

Laying here at the Four Point's Sheraton BWI, where I was able to squeeze in about 3 hours of sleep, I have just one message for my readers.....Happy Easter...and Happy Purim too!

True Colors Shining Through

The Democrats have been hiding their most basic agenda for some time. It almost started to appear that Democrats were learning how to handle the economy (which is not to say that Bush as done great things by any means) with talks of the need to cut spending. I've heard Democrats speak of cuts in spending from party leaders and presidential candidates, right down to the run of the mill congress men and women. Republicans started spending like it was going out of style and it was the folks on the left who were critical to point out ear marks and government waste. Time and time again, I've even heard the good folks on the left talk about how the poor and middle class needs the tax relief and the rich need to pay more.

Just two days ago, the Democrats that I grew up to know...finally showed their true colors. "Tax and Spend" Democrats are back! Both houses of congress just put plans together for tax increases. Both houses included HUGE increases in domestic programs....to compliment the massive tax increases. The dollar isn't worth a shit right now. The deficit spending is through the roof. The national debt is out of control. In general, I only support tax cuts, however, in order to pay off debt, I would support a small tax increase only on the condition that there be heavy cuts in spending. With a cut in spending and an increase in tax revenue, the ability to control the falling cost of the dollar can be stabilized. Democrats, who believe they magically know more about managing the economy want to tax more and spend more. Balanced or not, that still does not do anything for improving the economy, or recovering lost ground on the dollar. Let's talk about tax relief for a moment. In the proposed bills, the Dems want to increase that taxes for single people making at least $31,850 and double that for couples. Now...where is the relief for the middle class on that one? As for the poor....here's a news flash...POOR PEOPLE DON'T PAY TAX. If they do make enough to pay tax....it's not a lot of money anyway. Are the Dems going after the rich...of course. They get the joy of paying 39% of their income to the Federal Government so it can be thrown away on projects and programs that don't even benefit them, nor the middle class. This all means that a guy making 350K per year can go ahead and give the Feds $136,500. Now....I would like someone to tell me if it's "Fair" (A favorite word from the Democratic Dictionary) to pay $136,000 and get absolutely nothing? Look at it this way. That is also $136,000 that could have gone towards the purchase of homes, cars, vacations, goods and services. All of which would have been able to take that money and employ people, and therefore, provide more money to an economy.

Oh but, I forgot....what about the poor? It's about time the lazy get off their fat asses and contribute to this country. As for the poor and helpless....well...with money flooding the economy, lazy ass people back at work because jobs have finally been created and sales are on the rise...then...this country should be more than capable taking care of those who ACTUALLY can not take care of themselves.

Unfortunately, none of that will happen while our leaders fleece millions from those who can actually make a difference and give it to programs and bureaucracy that has a proven track record of blowing billions without being able to make any difference. We as citizens need to cut back when we fall on hard financial times....why shouldn't our government be equally to the people that it governs? After all....that was the basic concept of the constitution.

So...for me...It's John McCain. I don't like him, I don't like the fact that the republicans have been out of control with spending. But...I do like the fact that he does support cutting the spending that is out of control. If you keep the taxes reasonable, and you cut the spending...this country will "Right" itself.

I'm running for President and I support this message.

Empty shell of what once was

Back in Indianapolis for a day's worth of recurrent GSC training. Considering the last year or so that I spent at ATA, was as a headquarters employee, I'm certainly familiar with the territory. It's been a little over a year since my last trip to Indy. So much has changed. Even though my last year with ATA was one where layoffs were the norm, empty space was growing and company pride was riding a slippery slope south, Indy still felt kind of like, "home." Not the same as the place you go to every night to hug the wife, hang the hat and relax by the tube. "Home" in a sense that you were in familiar territory. A place that you had spent years coming and going from. People all around that you knew and so many you didn't, yet you all had something in common. Everybody worked for a well known and respected airline that was affectionately known as, "Indy's Hometown Airline"

Sadly, Indy's pride in the sky has taken a severe beating by the economy, high fuel and piss poor management decisions that involved just about everything but ATA's best interests. So many heads of the company have come and gone since I first set foot on ATA soil back in 1998. Intentions seemed to be so good, yet the judgment and fate of bad decisions has resulted in the near death of this once proud little airline. Back in 1998, ATA was close to breaking history as America's 10th Major US Carrier. Money couldn't be spent fast enough. Almost everybody who worked with ATA shared a pride in our little airline. Growth and success was just something we did everyday because that's what ATA was all about. The reality was, the writing was already on the walls for what the next 10 years was going to bring. I had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful 3 years with ATA before the floor started to fall out from under us. 2001 to 2008 had been painful to say the least. One idiot after another came through to try and rescue the struggling ATA and had left it in worse shape than the last guy. Bankruptcy has come and gone, and ATA survived a storm that should have knocked us out. The proud employee's gave it everything we had, and survival came in the form of a financial holdings company. This financial company is living up to it's industry reputation.

Now, my visit to Indy is empty. The pride is gone, along with so many of the dedicated employee's who held firm during the darkest of days. Headquarters positions are moving south to the holding company headquarters and the people who held them and fought so hard to keep them in Indy are now out of work, or moving on to other companies. No longer can you walk into the airport hotels and see plenty of familiar faces. No longer can you arrive and taxi from the runway to the terminal while looking out the window and seeing a building or aircraft that you take pride in. No longer can you walk into the place that you felt so familiar too. The structures remain, but the people and the heart that occupied those buildings are all but extinct. As ATA continues to shrink, my prayers go out to those affected employees and their families, especially those who fought tooth and nail for ATA's survival. It was an honor to be a member of that team (family) for as long as I stayed.

I may be a business man at heart. I may be a strong supporter of capitalism. I am not, nor will I ever be a supporter of the greed, ignorance and visionless management that destroys the lives of good people. I have found in my short time in business, the greatest success has come, not from my own hard work, but from the people who's lives I've made a positive difference in. Looking at my own little company, I built people up, and in turn, my business has grown. To me, that just seems like the right path to follow. I just hope that if I ever start making poor decisions that will likely wreak havoc on people's lives...that someone with a clear head will slap me hard with a solid dose of reality.

Smell yo Di**

I was listening to Sirius radio this morning on my drive home from work. I was flipping through the channels and landed on their "Top 40" music station where I was shocked to see and hear a new song on the charts. "Smell yo Dick." The performer is Riskay. If you don't believe me, do some checking. I've heard some wild Top 40 songs in the past that have to do with sex, and all of them gave me a chuckle. I do believe Riskay has pushed the envelope....which by the way...still gives me something to laugh at.

So....Ladies....if you believe Yo Man may be a Cheater....go ahead and Smell His Dick! I believe it was Ghandi who said it best...."The Truth comes from the Poon Tang."

The word of the day is: "Tired"

My schedule lately has been and continues to be tough on me. Having flights either coming or going every 6 to 12 hours is really beating me up. Sheri came down this morning with me at 0300L for an 0600L departure. She's in training...while she's sick...and tired...and tired of being sick. I'm not sure if she picked up on much of what was going on, I'll be able to tell next time she works with me if the training today paid off.

Because of my horrible schedule, especially over the past 3 months, I've spent a lot of overnights here at BWI. Many of these nights have been spent at the Hilton BWI or other local hotels...at my own expense. We've been adding up the costs and are starting to realize just how stupid it is to continue this trend with no plan in sight. So...we're going to come up with a plan and stop flushing so many Georges and Lincolns down the toilet. If I haven't mentioned how much I HATE the commute (and for the record...yes, I know I did this to myself) then let me say it now....loud and proud....I HATE THIS COMMUTE!!!!!

You'll have to pardon my, not so jovial mood. I get this way on less than 3 hours of sleep. I've got one more flight left today that departs at 1200L (See...6 hours...again!!!) and I'll finally get a little bit of a break. Nap time is on the horizon...WhooHoo! I might even shut my cell phone off for a few hours and get some uninterrupted rest. I have no social life at the moment...so the little things are really pleasing to me lately.

My aunt, who works at a GYN practice, told me a story about one of the idiot patients they had in the other day. There was a 22 year old girl who came in because she was complaining about her vagina having a strange color discharge. (Lovely!) As it turns out, she was given a prescription for a diaphragm and with the prescription, came directions. She was supposed to use Spermicidal Jelly. Dumbass figured Grape Jelly would be the same thing. Wow...people are awesome! I know stupid people can be frustrating sometimes....but man....they are great to laugh at.

I had my oil changed in the Honda yesterday. It's now got 217500 miles and climbing fast. It seems that the car (which has very little value at this point) needs some TLC to keep it running. Fresh Transmission fluid, Radiator Flush, Rear Brake Rotors, a New Battery and finally...a new Timing belt are all needed. I'm going to have to make a decision soon. Keep the car and dump lots of cash into it...or replace it for lots of cash and lower maintenance going forward. Naturally, the only way to replace a Honda is with another Honda. You can't replace a Honda with a Chevy...that would be just plain stupid. The problem is, Honda's cost money and I'm freaking cheap.

Ahhhh...lack of sleep and frustration....can you tell I'm in a grouchy mood? I believe Madonna put it best when she said...."La isla Bonita" Is that relevant....not at all. Random is the word for the hour and sleeping in my car will be the phrase for the next 90 minutes. I'm out.

Freedom ain't quite Free

A sad but true reality. The need to maintain a more professional image on the outside has forced me to take my immature childish nature and appreciation for all things gutter and entertaining into the closet. Do I wish I could rip a fart from a mountaintop and have the whole world hear it....sure I do...but that isn't exactly good for business. Let's face it, though nothing makes me laugh like a meaty fart, money also plays an important role in my life.

Now, the blog name is more anonymous, the location is no longer tied to it's creator and privacy can be better kept. I've spent a huge part of my life working on creating my life the way it is now and continues to grow, the last thing I want to do is tear it down because I might joke about a dump the size of a car fender.

So....what's new you might ask?

Well....my business is rolling well, even though one of my biggest customer's is pulling a hefty chunk away and closing down an entire service element of what they provide. Does that suck...you bet! So far, I have been able to pick up some extra activity, thanks in part to Hillary and Obama for continuing to duke it out. The longer they fight for the right to call themselves a nominee, the better chances I have to provide representation services to folks that support them. Currently, I have a rep covering "Barry" and hope to be able to cover Miss Congeniality's charter in the near future.

Recently, I was on the road flying around with Obama's charter. I had a ball. It's just the kind of work I really thrive on. Fast paced coordination! Sure, it may be kind of a hurry up and wait game, but that hurry up time can be intense. Loved it! I learned a lot about the press while I was onboard. It's fascinating to hear the opinions of the camera and support people vs. what you hear in the newspapers and 24 hour news channels. The filtering that takes place is down right scary. Jeff Conlin is right...the best source for political news is CSPAN. I'll share some inside information on the candidate himself....ready....He likes Cheese and Crackers. If that doesn't make you want to vote for him, I don't know what will. Judging by the way people faint when he sneezes...that kind of information might be life changing for people who love him that much. As for me...I really like the guy....Personally that is. His political message is lacking...well...a message. Hillary is the best thing for the Republican party and as much as I don't want to see her winning a chance to become the president....she might be what the republican's need to get out and vote.

God only knows there is SOOOO much stuff I'm missing from the last time I blogged. I just don't have the energy to type it in. Work has been CRAZY lately and I'm very tired. No sleep last night either. I had about 4-5 hours available, but my body kept waking up with "Alarm anticipation." I hate that!

Rob and I are going to have lunch today. I had the chance to hang out with him last week for a few hours and it was wonderful. Not only did we have a chance to have some dinner and chat...we played a killer game of Scrabble. Had I not gotten the "Q" and the "J" so late in the game...I probably could have won, but the board itself was very tight.

OK, it's 0909L and I'm ready for a nap. Hopefully my comfort level will be more relaxed with blogging here and my loyal fans won't have to wait so long for updates. My stomach just sent me a message....it's time to locate some breakfast. I'm out!

"O" to thin walls

It's 1:15am and I'm awake. I am in the Hilton Garden Hotel at BWI because I had a very short amount of time tonight for sleep, before I work my ass off this morning. I was lucky enough to get about an hour and a half of sleep. My night was interupted by "Conan the barbarian cock" next door. I am going to go ahead and assume that Mr. Johnson next door has a fairly large weenie. I am only making this assumption because, Ms. Jane requested that he continue to "F*&K me harder, f*&k me with that big f*&king cock"

No, it was not a porno movie on the TV next door either. The slamming headboard cleared up any confusion there. So....While Mr. and Ms. Ivannahumpalot next door are having hours of fun....I can't sleep and I'll probably be dead tired during a busy morning. For the record....they took about a 1/2 hour break and are back at trying to make babies.

Hey, it were Sheri and I going to town like that....I wouldn't care about the neighbors, but since I'm the innocent bystander here....I'll hypocritically pass judgment on those bastards next door.

Well.....it's 1:31am and the "Big O" next door has just passed. Must have been a quickie.

Goodnight....what's left of it.

Visine for tunnel vision

I had a lovely lunch yesterday with Rob. No matter how smart, successful and focused you may think you are in life, you inevitably are limited in your field of vision. Recently, I've been struggling with a simple concept. I couldn't for the life of me see what my next step should be. Rob, in his natural way, suggested a solution and within seconds, I saw past the blockage in my road to business growth and was able to move forward. Yes, this was a little cryptic, I admit...so what...It's business. Now, I need to sit down with Rob again and come up with a real solid strategy for long term growth and development. I'm not sure when we'll have time for such a task, nor am I clear yet as to what direction(s) to go. For now, I'll just settle for another bowl of chili at Nick's. Are you hip for that...my Nubian brotha?

I've had a ton of feedback regarding my Colon Blow/Knob Gobble story. (Listed Below) I'm just glad that I could entertain those who enjoyed the story. So many people have told me, "This could only happen to you" Well....I am just going to have to agree with them.

Switching over to politics briefly -

I've taken the time to watch some debates recently. The Democrats really scare the shit out of me. They all present these wonderful plans that are designed to make the listener feel good about what they can do for America....but...they don't exactly talk about just how much their grand ideas are really going to cost the American tax payer. It's true, a universal health care system would mean that the government pays your insurance....what isn't brought up is....how much we will have to pay the government for such a service. Considering, so many people can't afford insurance now, nor do many of them currently pay tax, that would mean that those of us who do pay tax, will not only pay for our share...but we'll go ahead and pay it for those who don't. Fair??? Costly...you bet!!! It's coming from EVERYONE that pays tax...don't think for a minute, that somehow only the wealthy will cover this bill. As of today, the General Election looks grim for the Republicans. So...if I had to choose a Democrat to win, I would have to say Obama would at least be better than the other two. Though he has some lofty and costly ideas, at least his concept of health care is NOT universal. His fix is to give "Affordable" health care to Americans by trying to get the insurance companies to cut their premiums. Well...though that may be a Pie in the Sky idea...at least he hasn't come out as strong as Hillary and Edwards who want a fully funded Gov't Controlled System. Here is the obvious question to those who believe Hillary or Edwards are on the right track. Has the Federal Government EVER successfully run anything department or program efficiently? Do you really want to put your health into the hands of the Government that gave us failing programs like, Welfare, Social Security, Medicare and the Department of Homeland Security, TSA, IRS, etc...???

To the voting citizens of the United States...I beg you....WAKE UP and see reality before you vote!

On to the Republican side of the election. The choices there are not exactly what any of use feel is the "Answer to all of our problems." I like Rudy, however he has made a bone head judgment in only focusing on Florida, which may cost him the whole damn election. Huckabee wants to change the damn constitution for something as petty as preventing same sex marriage. Give me a fucking break! Don't we have more pressing issues? Ron Paul has a great message, but he's also a little nutty...has no chance anyway. McCain has been on the wrong side of Bush's right decisions. Bushy may have made a lot of mistakes, but the choices that were right, McCain was against. Not very encouraging there. Romney reminds too many people of John Kerry. Too polished...seems fake. Though his background is strong fiscally and he has a great history of business leadership, I don't think he could win over a strong Democrat. The Republican Party as a whole needs a strong kick in the ass. The spending that Republicans do in congress is disgusting. Democrats aren't going to be any better, as a matter of fact....they'll spend more on their programs....by a LONG SHOT. This country needs solid, responsible, fiscally conservative leadership in both the legislative and executive branches. Damn, this is going to be a painful election.

The economy is a hot topic right now. Citizens of this country suffer from memory loss. There is a huge panic in the press about the economy. (Keep in mind, it is he press and they can generate a huge panic over Zoo Safety if they want to.) Anyway, the economy and the markets FLUCTUATE. They go up, they go down...it's natural, normal and GOOD for the country. So, if we end up in a recession, just like we did when Reagan, Clinton and Bush II took office, we'll hit a low...then bounce back for a high. The fundamentals are all solid and strong....everybody needs to stop the panic and let the market correct itself. Would a stimulus package help....SURE! However, we still need to allow the market to make it's corrections. No Hillary, freezing interest rate for 5 YEARS will not help the economy as a whole, nor will freezing foreclosures for 3 months. Consider for a second, how bad the mortgage foreclosure situation will be if all foreclosures were held for 3 months....on that 91st day....we'll have a freaking meltdown! I'm not an economist by any means...but I do have some common sense.

I'm hungry, so, I'm off to grab some food before my night gets busy again.

Choke 'n' Poo

ATA's DC10 from Germany was running VERY late tonight. The flight arrived at 2345L and was ready to ferry out to GSO as of 0112L. A few minutes before we were ready to push back, the outbound captain found the ID badge of the inbound captain. So...being the nice "SuperRep" that I am, I called the hotel an spoke to the captain before he fell asleep to let him know that I had his ID Badge. Obviously, he was happy to hear it was found. Being an airline crew member and not having your ID, is like going out to your car and trying to start it without keys. It's possible...but not a pleasure. Anyway, since his hotel was right down the street, I offered to pop over there and give him his badge back. So, with the plane off the gate and only 25 minutes since we spoke, I was at the hotel and he had his badge back.

Once I handed him the badge and stepped into the elevator, I thought...."Hmmm, I might as well take a dump while I'm here." I wasn't at the point that a turtle was poking, but, the Marriott's facility sure beats some of the other stops I might be potentially needing while I'm driving home. So....I stepped off the elevator and walked into the Men's room in the lobby. Just as I had pulled my pants down and sat down, I hear the door to the bathroom open up and someone walked in. At this moment, I was starting to maneuver the manure muscles, when all of a sudden, I hear another person walk in and speak....it was a female!!! My immediate reaction was to stay silent and maybe they would walk out right away. She and the gentleman that entered a few seconds earlier, made about 5 seconds of drunken small talk when all of a sudden, they enter the stall next to mine and close the door. My immediate thought was...."hmm...what the hell is up with this?" That thought was also followed by....."Damn, now that I started the process, I can't go back now....this Toilet Eel needs to be set free!" Having never been faced with a Co-ed audience before, I held back and tried to figure out what I should do, even though, nature was now dictating my only real option. And then.....I hear...."Zip...lick...slurp....choke....moan...etc..." Whoa!!! This is insane!!! The dude next to me is getting a blow job and I'm taking a dump in the stall next door. I was silent before the fine upstanding female decided to devour the gentleman's man meat, but I couldn't be silent anymore. The beast from beneath was set free and if they didn't realize someone was there, now it was obvious. She stopped for a second and said to her male friend, "Oh shit, we aren't alone in here." Mr. Bologna quickly addressed her concern with a typical male comment..."It's ok baby, don't stop." Now that I was feeling totally awkward, I wiped my ass, pulled up my pants and hit the sink to clean my hands and walked out.

I have spent countless hours dropping friends off in pools all across the globe. Never, have I been faced with a situation like this one. You just don't know how to react. Who knows, maybe I could have made the "Man Cough" or "Bathroom Breath?" I don't really think it would have mattered. From the sounds of it, neither of them cared too much. She wanted to polish his pork sword and he wasn't going to stop her. If anything, I now have another crazy story to add to my collection unusual bathroom experiences and though it was very awkward, I at least have a funny story to tell.

I always prefer public crappers in hotels because they are generally cleaner and quieter. This Blows my theory - Pun intended.

If you'll allow me to abuse song lyrics for a moment, I'm going to edit Aerosmith's "Love in an Elevator" and change it up a bit....feel fry to sing it in your head:

Normal Version -
Love in an Ela-Vator....Livin it up while you're goin dowwwn

Edited Version -
Love in a pub-lic bath-room.....Takin a dump while she's goin down.

OK...time for bed...I've got another long day ahead of me tomorrow.

Dripping within tolerable limits

I've been working out lately. After looking at myself in the mirror and finding myself to be "softer" than I can handle, one of my new years goals was to firm it up and get some cardio and weights going. So far, I have worked my body at least every other day, except Saturday and Sundays. I may not get into shape as quickly by indulging myself on the weekends, but at least I am making forward progress.

The work schedule is in FULL swing at the moment. I'm facing a week full of VERY long days. Though I have been able to get others to assist in coverage, it's still going to be a "Ball Breaker." On the subject of breaking balls, I got a little testy (pun intended) with ASIG's ramp crew tonight. I get very upset when I have a 767 departing for Europe with less than an hour before it's due to depart...and I see ramp guys sleeping on the job instead of loading the plane. So, with my typical sarcastic yet boldly direct voice, I called a supervisor to "resolve" the situation. The big question is, if a supervisor is doing his job....that would of course be..."Supervision," would I still walk in on his crew members sleeping? From my early management classes, I believe the theory is that, good management has to start at the top.

Tonight, Bob, Dave and myself were all in the operations trailer together. Put the three of us together and you're going to have a laugh or two. The three of us share warped senses of humor...and even if nobody else around us finds our banter amusing, at least we get it. Speaking of getting it, I had no idea that the other airline reps were also as amused with pooping and farting as I am.

Call me a total geek. The other night, I watched "The Night They Saved Christmas" on "Free Movies On Demand." We've been paying out the anus for Cable and I finally discovered some of the features that we have access too. This movie is a really cheese ball 80's flick that I loved watching as a kid. I couldn't resist! Now, if only "On Demand" would make the movie "Rad" available!

Flying...I need to go flying again. The other day, I had a kick ass flight. The weather was perfect, which was great considering, I had not flown in over 2 months. I thought I was going to be sloppy and rusty. To my own surprise, I not only handled the airplane well, but I also landed quite smoothly 7 out of 7 times. Even though I took up N4601D which is really suffering, I still enjoyed the thrill of flight. Starting out that day, I was facing an aircraft with missing Avionics (no DME or GPS) and that was followed by a slow fuel leak coming from the left wing fuel sump. At no point did I compromise safety, a few drips per minute isn't a big deal, especially with a whole other tank on the right wing. I did however maintain constant awareness of the aircraft's position, and maintenance status as I really didn't feel like entering into the "snowball effect" and having an accident. After a few touch n go's, I popped over to Smoketown S37, to top off the wings and then flew back over to Lancaster LNS. Ahhh....just like the airlines, flying safely, despite mechanical problems. Somehow, I think that gave this flight a more exciting feeling. Regardless of nifty feelings...I still prefer to fly planes that are fully equipped and hold their fluids.

The Rice Mobile had an oil change yesterday. Normally, I'm pretty good about changing the oil every 3 to 6 thousand miles. I wasn't such a good boy this time around. I went over 10K miles in between oil changes and this time, I had very little oil left. Bad Honda Owner! Bad! On a brighter note...The car is still running because that is what Honda's do.

I should have taken a nap between flights. Damn...I'm feeling tired. I'm at 20 hours and I have another 6 to go before I can sleep (Best Case Scenario)

...and so begins...2008

I know it's been a long time since I last posted any bloggerific brain droppings. Whether it was a matter of my work schedule being too heavy, or just a lack of stuff to blab about, I can't say. No matter, it's 2008 and life is still good. Currently, I'm sitting in the World Airways office, (Thank You Justus for the net access and the use of the facility) waiting on what promises to be a busy last 2 to 3 hours before I get a full day off tomorrow. With an L1011 that has come and gone, I now have a 767 arriving and departing at the same time as my 737 from Guantanamo Bay makes it's way back. Tomorrow...weather permitting....I'm going flying and I can't wait! Who could ask for a better day? Flying in the morning, followed by Football and Beer in the afternoon. If it were 75 degrees and sunny, I would say that I discovered heaven.

The Holidays this year lacked my usual excited Christmas Spirit, probably due to my major lack of sleep and the heavy work schedule. Though the holiday spirit didn't boil out of me like last night's Italian shrimp/linguine dinner, it was still an enjoyable season. The schedule slowed down enough for me to have some time to visit family, eat like a freaking pig and catch up on some sleep. I don't want to sound like a Grinch when I say this, but...I'm glad the holidays are over. A return to normal (or my abnormal world for that matter) somehow brings me comfort. Speaking of comfort, I bought a fold up bed that fits in a small bag. This baby can help me catch a few winks on some of those long nights without having to shell out huge $$$ on a hotel room. That isn't to say that I'll be ditching the comforts of the BWI Hilton for good, but if the timing works out...I can use the fold up bed instead.

Let me just take a second to mention the Da Peppe's restaurant dinner I had last night. The Spicy Shrimp and Linguine with Marinara sauce was wonderful. Great taste, fiery spice...damn good food. Shocking was the fact that I didn't empty my colon until 1600L today. That moment arrived with the usual "uh oh...poopy dance" to the ASIG bathroom, and ended with a painfully thick cable spiraling into the water with the stench of road kill. I really though that beast came out sideways...until I looked down at the voluminous girth. It's a miracle that I can walk...for that...today...I Thank God!

So, it's 2008 and I need to sit down and map out my goals for the year. I did it in 2007 and achieve success. Last year, it was easy for me to figure out what I wanted to do with my time in 2007, this year, I'm a little cloudy. I do hope that I can find some clarity so that I don't waste too much time. The fact is...life is very short, it's an awful shame to waste any of it.

Switching gears and speaking cryptically for a moment - I had to deliver a message to a friend today that bothers me greatly. With excitement, I agreed to do everything I could for him and when finally given the opportunity, I can not fully deliver. Though my reasoning makes perfect sense, and I know he understands it...that still doesn't erase the fact that I am failing to deliver on what I told him I could do. The stress factor on this one has certainly caused some sleep loss and now time will dictate the outcome.

I'm currently in the market for a New(er) Honda Accord. After my failed attempt at replacing the best car I've ever owned, I am looking back at Honda once again. Yesterday, I went down to the local Honda Dealership and sat down with a guy that Sheri used to work with at the Nissan Dealership. I had a great conversation with him...and the General Manager of the place who also stopped by to chat. What a world of a difference between the Nissan place and Honda. The hours the sales folks work are brutal at Nissan...and near perfect at Honda. While it was cool to chit chat with Mike from Nissan, I found it to be really rewarding to sit down the the GM and discuss "how does a dealership work" from a business person to business person stand point. Overall, it was a neat experience for me and I look forward to having them locate my next car for me. I did give the a list of what I want....this time around...I'm very specific and don't want to settle for less. I have a feeling that the Honda experience will turn out much better.

My 767 is about to touch down. To the Rice Mobile Batman!
